A nurse who still can't find the medication she needs in the fridge has sued the pharmacy that supplied it.
The nurse, Camille Goodwin, has been a registered nurse at Hubtown Medical Center for over 10 years, said she had been trying to get the medication for weeks and had been told by the pharmacy that it would be in the fridge. After looking through the refrigerator with no success, Goodwin was in disbelief and decided to take legal action.
The nurse expressed her frustration with the ordeal in an official statement, saying “I can’t believe that something like this happened. I’ve been relying on this pharmacy for years to get the medications I need for my patients and now, something like this has to happen. I do my best to give my patients the very best care, but I can’t do that if I can't find the medication they need.”
It has yet to be determined what the outcome of the lawsuit will be, but Goodwin and her attorney feel confident that justice will be served.
The pharmacy, however, has been tight-lipped about the incident, refusing to comment on whether or not they feel any responsibility for the oversight. Until a fair judgment is passed, Goodwin and her lawyer remain hopeful that the pharmacy is held accountable for their negligence.
